I read an article about this car a long time ago, this is a legit 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. And remember the annoying phone company commercials with Carrot Top that had a 1968 Charger in it? The same guy owns both cars. |

In reality, this car is a 318, automatic "White Hat Special" I've known the owner for years. It is a nice car. The 318 is getting a little tired but it still looks great. Yes he does (or did) own the car in the AT&T commercial. They smacked it into a curb during the shoot and really bent up the rear axle. That took quite a while to get that issue resolved. As far as I know he sold the AT&T car to a fellow in the San Fransisco area about 5 years ago. He also owned the car used in "Blade" They sold it to the studio as I guess they were going to use it for a sequel. |
