It's not a CTS (they don't have the hood ornament), probably a DLS. |

Not a DLS, its a Cadillac Deville, there is no DLS. |

Yes it's a 1999-2005 Deville... although it could be the DTS trim level. And there is no DLS. |

Oops, I coulda sworn there was a DLS (since there's a DTS). |

For the 2000-2005 models there was the DeVille and the DeVille DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan). Now it is just called the DTS. Before that the 1994-1999 models were the DeVille and the DeVille Concours. Both the DeVille Concours and DeVille DTS are identifiable by having a badge in the centre of the grille, the basic, less sporty model has a plain grille with a hood ornament instead. There was a Seville SLS and STS, maybe that's what you were thinking of. |

Oh, I know, that was kinda the point, I assumed that Cadillac had switched every model over to the alphabetic designation (and we all know what happens when you assume). |

According to consumerguide.com, there are three trim levels for this generation of DeVille: Base, DHS and DTS. http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/2000-cadillac-deville.htm |
