Here is a 1969 Charge R/T... The most famous one by the way... /vehicle_2071-Dodge-Charger-R-T-1969.html And here an example of 1970 Super Bee... http://www.hubcapcafe.com/i/2001/lakeelmo/dodg7001.JPG -- Last edit: 2006-11-24 15:59:44 |

It's either a 1970 Coronet R/T, or a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. Anyone have a better view of the design in the bumble-bee stripe? |

Now that I look closer, the Coronet R/T would have had R/T side scoops mounted on the quarter panel. This is a Super Bee. |

Hi moparguy, can I ask you ..what does R/T stand for.? (I've seen it written on the cars but never knew what it meant.!) |

Probably just some adman's idea but I always assumed it stood for Road and Track? Perhaps moparguy or someone can say definitely. |

R/T stands for Road & Track. It's a designation reserved for the high-performance B-body Dodges: Charger R/T, Coronet R/T. The Super Bee and Dart Gts were also part of the Scat Pack. |

The chrome scoop accent looks wrong for a super bee.......And it has the ram charger hood scoops, but no ram charger box underneath? -- Last edit: 2014-06-15 17:11:38 |

It looks like chrome to me, if so it's either from a Coronet 440 or 500. -- Last edit: 2014-06-15 17:41:27 |
