an_unusual_eye ◊ 2014-03-11 14:49	900 Turbo with the factory optional ronal wheels... which i believe makes it an S by default as well. i'll leave it as "unknown" though... because i suspect there's someone amongst us that can put a solid year range to it instead on my loosely educated guess of 1982+.
dsl ◊ 2014-03-11 14:59	Seems in UK that all these bells and whistles came with Aug 83 update of Turbo SE, and then updated again as Turbo 16V S in Aug 84; no sign of Oct 85 side indicators.
an_unusual_eye ◊ 2014-03-11 15:15	see... i knew someone could nail it down. i've had two saabs in the past, both 900s and both black (a 1984 4 door S turbo and a 1992 2 door S 16-valve non turbo with the ronal wheels from the factory) but never really considered myself to be a saab-o-phile. in fact i had quite bad "luck" with both vehicles. so... list as '84+ Turbo SE..?
dsl ◊ 2014-03-11 15:58	I was just reading from a book, without claiming any direct knowledge. 84+ Turbo SE seems good on that basis, but leaving it open to attract confirmation.
