Small world, huh? If it's the same place I think it is,I tried getting a job there many years ago?? (Was a division of "Southwestern Professional Vehicles",I believe??) That model Hearse is still seen locally in use by some smaller funeral homes. |

Hey, that´s interesting! If so: Be lucky you apparently didn´t get the job. They only lasted for a few years - as well as their predecessors B&B and Bratton or their successor C&C. ![]() I have no clue if they were related to SPV in any way (would be interesting to find out more though). Century was owned by 4 people and one of them was W. Bratton, a former employee of Summers Funeral Car Co. of Duncanville/ Texas. Southwest also offered funeral car conversions, but I think that were merely station wagons and Suburbans with minor body modifications. -- Last edit: 2008-02-16 20:13:19 |

1985-1988. The bumper is flush with the front fenders. |

Actually, 1985 -1989. A clearer photo showing the grille bar pattern would narrow this down. -- Last edit: 2009-09-11 04:02:47 |

I said 1985-1988 because of the clear parking lights. Unless I'm wrong, I believe they were amber in 1989. |
