Are two wreath bearers,Italian-made;that in close-up seems based on a chopped 1962 Fiat 600 T or 1970 850 T(like a pick-up) that on backgroung had the tail lamps typical of 1959 Alfa Romeo Romeo 2° van or the subsequent 1968 Alfa Romeo F11/12 van |

For the Fiat could hypotize a body conversion done by Fissore(funeral cars of that bodybuilder were mostly based on Fiat vehicles, like the 1300-1500,the 125,the 1100 T van,the 1800-2300 Familiare wagon) |

However,600 T or 850 T(another hypotesis could be based on similar 1965-1975 Fiat 850 Familiare minibus, but I'll see if had same quad headlights of Fiat 1300-1500 for be sure),'cause rear axle shown wheels with negative camber angle(wheels canted inside-way),a feature of these vehicles based on Fiat 600 and 850 due at weight distribution of back engine(also 1957-1975 Fiat 500 shown same feature at back axle) |

They die a lot in this movie, don´t they? I can´t see any specific detail leading to a certain coachbuilder. Many Fissore hearses based on Fiat, that´s right, but so did conversions by almost any other Italian make that time. So we won´t find out more about that until they take the wreaths off. -- Last edit: 2008-11-17 10:06:34 |
