Yes, Albion Chieftain with an artic conversion by Scammell; since Leyland owned both Albion and Scammell by then I don't think Scammell would form part of the description. |

This truck has nothing to do with Scammell. Only the trucks fitted with Scammell automatic couplings could be said to have some Scammell in them and even then not many include Scammell in badging, only Bedford AFIK . These could be uncoupled without driver leaving cab and were only of low capacity up to about 1O tons , Mechanical Horse been the most famous example.
