No, it says 'DODGE'. I believe it's a 500 series http://www.allpar.com/trucks/dodge-500-fargo-desoto.html , introduced at 1964 Earls Court with production start in December, probably made until Peugeot-Citroen took over Rootes in 1978. |

Introduced September 1965. "A new design, high-quality tilt cab and the use of vee engines as standard are the main features of the 500 Series goods vehicles range introduced by Dodge Brothers (Britain) Ltd." from Commercial Motor archive. There were no new Dodge models shown at the 1964 Earls Court Commercial Motor Show; the 500 Series was at the 1965 Scottish Motor Exhibition. The Commercial Motor Show was a biennial event. On alternate years the Scottish Motor Exhibition, was held at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow. The 500 series I believe was replaced by the Dodge 100 series Commando range and, for heavier trucks, the 300 series (Barrieros sourced) trucks in 1978. |
