Perhaps that "Z71" script on the left can help. -- Last edit: 2013-12-25 13:31:37 |

Z71 package means 2000 only there is so confusion as GTcarlot does have a few 1999 Z71s but all the documents I can find indicate 2000 only as the model year. If anyone can dig up 1999 Tahoe brochures that may help solve this question. For now I will label as a 2000. Edit: This is Indigo Blue paint color. Here is an Ebay link (I know it is bad) but there is no reference to 1999 Z71. Only LS/LT trim. Link to "www.ebay.com" -- Last edit: 2019-05-13 20:43:27 |

They are all 2000s, GTCarlot, while a great resource, does have some inaccuracies. Here's a 1999 brochure, it doesn't show all pages, but most. I'm pretty sure I have one somewhere, just a matter of finding which box it's in and digging it out. Link to "www.ebay.com" Ah heck, I'm pretty sure I just linked to the same brochure you did. -- Last edit: 2019-05-13 20:57:19 |

now we know for sure there is no Z71 in it the red one in GT Carlot comes back in Carfax to a Tahoe K1500 ( and don't have the fog ) silver one is a little bit more intriguing as it does have them but no VIN to be found i'm pretty sure they are 2000-exclusive too -- Last edit: 2019-05-13 21:04:23 |

Yes, on Carfax they show as just Tahoe K-1500, no trim level. All Z71's were four-wheel-drive, just as all Limited's were two-wheel-drive C-1500. On AutoCheck it does give the trim level. 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 VIN: 1GNEK13R2YR141666 Style / Body: SUV 4D Engine: 5.7L V8 CPI Country of Assembly: United States That's the VIN for this Emerald Green Metallic model. http://gtcarlot.com/colors/car/22277825-20.html |

checked the red 1999 one on Autocheck and comes back as LS/LT ( i'm suspecting also a Z71 copy as there is no fog lights ) |
