Shouldn't most of the buses currently listed under GM really be GMC ?

Busses were produced under the name GMDD (General Motors Diesel Division).

There are quite a few references saying that GMDD was used.

This is a 4501 Scenicruiser made by GM for Greyhound exclusively. They were all built in 1954-56, about 1000 built. They originally had two 4-71 Detroit Diesels linked together thru the tranny. Later they were rebuilt by Marmon-Harrington when D.Diesel introduced the V8-71 series. The hound ran them for 25 years. They were a trademark/signature for Greyhound.
