1955-57 Vedette Régence. But I'm pretty sure these were sold as Ford in Germany (like in Holland). |

Hmmm, I'm even not sure, if they were sold in whole Germany and nut just only in the Saarland. Outside this former French-ruled country (until 1957) with the Simca 1000 thsi brand became more wiedspread. |

This shape of bodywork is a Ford project from USA's office . It was the replacement for the Ford Vedette 1954. This projet were over when Ford decided to sold to Simca in September 1954. So as you can imagine , the production as been start and few cars were produce with FORD logo on nameplate if this picture is from 1955 , this is probably a SIMCA and not a Ford 1955 (Ford only for the end of 1954 with SIMCA trade mark) |
