Not Montero,as in USA??? |

i think Pajero was only changed to Montero in Spain for abvious reasons, or not? it was also changed in USA? |

Well, a large hispano/latino minority in the country is a pretty good reason. There is a large number of people with roots in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba etc. in the US. |

The first-generation Montero changed to the second-generation in 1992. -- Last edit: 2011-12-03 05:08:19 |

1994+ "LS" trim due to the wheel design. |

V6 is redundant. All 1992-2000 Montero in the USA had this motor. |

Did you have this generation for 2000 as well?... |

Yes so did Europe. |

Strange, because I can't find any 2000 models for sale. Although the ADAC does say it was discontinued May 2000. |

Strange indeed as the next generation was introduced summer of 2000 for the 2001 MY. We have one with a VIN built March of 2000 with a 10th digit as a 1 indicating Mitsubishi had an early model year for the 3rd generation. Unlike this generation where there was a short model year of 1991s in EU. |
