Don't know of any '77-'79 LeSabre that had a single, horizontal divider bar. The '78 Electra did, though. |

It's actually a Geo Tracker : the "Tracker" script sticker is visible above the rear wheelarch. |

But the Electra also had partially skirted rear fenders. Hmm. |

LeSabre with an Electra grille? Photo distortion? Undiscovered new species? |

Isn't it a 77 LeSabre with the edge of the bumper reflected in the grill? -- Last edit: 2013-10-28 19:27:15 |

It's quite common to see cars with the wrong grille and/or other parts after a collision repair. I remember quite a few cars like that around when I was a kid like a 1975 LeSabre convertible with a 1976 LeSabre grille, rectangular headlights and 1976 LeSabre rear bumper but it still had it's 1975 front bumper which meant the car now had parking lights/flashers just below the headlights and in the front bumper as well... A 1976 Electra Limited with a 1976 LeSabre grille, another 1976 Electra 225 with LeSabre front clip (grille, hood ornament and 3 portholes on each fender)... I knew somebody who had an accident with a 1984 Regal Limited that looked like a 1983 from the front after it was repaired. The insurance company didn't want to pay for new parts so they took what they found (that was in the mid-nineties)... The 1979 LeSabre often lost a few "teeth" from their grille even if they weren't in an accident. Just removing snow/ice from the car was enough to break them. Quite a few needed their grille replaced by 1977-78 Electra or 1977-79 LeSabre grilles! This one has just one tooth that's missing: http://images.copart.com/website/data/pix/20130420/18092163_AX.JPG This one has a few more (cars like that were a common sight when they got older)... http://images.copart.com/website/data/pix/20101007/21313360_1X.JPG |

How do you suggest we list this one then? '77 LeSabre ? |

I'll do that, as first of possible years. Best choice under the circumstances, I guess. |
