Or rather a Vanden Plas Princess 3 Litre? I could be wrong...

Mmmh… Actually you could be right…

In an other scene, we see the car moving out:

… but never its front end.

If someone told me that "Princess 3-Litre" reads on the boot lid, in thumbnail one, I would say… er, I would shut my mouth.

(I was thinking that both Wolseley 15/60 and Vanden Plas Princess 3-Litre looked like over-sized 404… when I discovered that they were both designed by Pininfarina, like the Peugeot. Ts-ts-ts…)

Definitely Vanden Plas Princess 3-Litre [ADO37], 1959-68. As I've said elsewhere, unlike Peugeot BMC messed Pininfarina's designs up.

<Sob. Sigh. Sob, re-sob.> Do you really want to hurt me, Chris? Do you really want to make me cry?
(The truth is that I had never heard of a Vanden Plas Princess 3-Litre.)

Yes they do! :D (Chris and Sandie)

... and so do I (but softly). It's either a Princess 3-Litre 1960, or a Vanden Plas Princess 3-Litre 1961+ ;)

In my mind, I've always found the BMC versions much more classy than the Peugeot :D especially, upper level ranges: A110, MG, Riley, Princess, Vanden Plas and Wolseley.

Ouais ben alors là, j'm'esscuse, hein, but I totally agree with Chris. They are overloaded with garments, when the 404 remains in a styly simplicity, French/Italian touch of class and modernity.

Do you want to say I have some "kitschy" bad taste? :D ....

Any support for the idea this has the smaller wheels so 63+ Mk2?
