I think it has single pane windscreen, not split (perhaps clearer on screen than in these captures) which is slightly confusing, unless Aus-assembly was not quite in sync with UK changes. Another sighting later (though probably does not help much with this dating question): |

I can't buy that. Admittedly I can't see the divider, but if the windscreen has been completely removed the divider would have disappeared along with it; and the small rear window is unmistakeable, no Minor 1000 would have had that. I'm not sure if I would be considered an authority but I've driven every Minor - Series MM, II and 1000 - between 1948 and 1962. -- Last edit: 2013-10-09 00:29:56 |
