Possibly "crisis version" of the "Komfort" trim.

Dear Weasel1984. Can you explain to me why in Poland there are 126 which have got the same dark plastic bumpers of the Italian 126 Personal but lacks the side protection of the same style, and there are even such 126 like this with standard steel bumpers but WITH the sid eprotection in dark PVC of the Italian 126 Personal ?
Thank You

Mostly because there were shortages in such parts in the early 80s - so they put to cars this what they had at the moment in the warehouses. Export had priority in the completion of the trim levels according to "brochure". This what we see here is a very stripped down "Komfort" trim (which externally should look identical to the Italian Personal - including the new wheels/brakes etc.) OR this side protectors were optional also for different models. I do not know the option list of this era, but for sure there were such similar "budget" Komforts back then.
