Animatronixx ◊ 2008-02-11 19:16	You already guessed it: The conversion was made for the movie and they just did it once. When you see that scene in the movie, you´ll notice that the picture freezes for a few seconds. People often ask themselves: "WHY did they do that instead of just showing the car falling down continuously? What the hell might be the purpose of that freezed image?" The simple answer: It was an incident which occured due to a technical failure of one of the cameras (they were all linked to one another). As they only had one Jaguar hearse, they couldn´t do another shot of the Jag falling down the cliff. That´s why they had to leave this slightly injured scene in the film - being lucky that the cameras had not completely ceased recording at that moment. -- Last edit: 2008-02-12 02:03:07

fleetwood75 ◊ 2011-05-30 04:43	I'm not sure if power windows were optional on the '71 XKE because when it shows Bud Cort rolling down the window to stick his head out, It looks like this Jag has power windows, Maybe they were custom fitted to this car or maybe the window cranks on the XKE are so smooth in operation, That it makes it seem like this Jag has power windows, I couldn't see any movements inside that suggest turning a hand crank, So this Jag definitely has power windows it looks like.
