Not quite sure what it is, but the exhaust system appears to be on the wrong side for a vintage Bentley, and the whole thing looks wrong. Any more views available? |

Re the position of the exhaust, I recall when there was a big group of vintage Bentleys visiting here some years ago that you could pick the difference between an 8 litre and a six and a half by the fact that their exhausts were on different sides. The 8 litre has its exhaust on the left. This car is possibly a 6 and a half or maybe a Speed Six. -- Last edit: 2013-08-21 07:44:43 |

The car looks too small to be a six cylinder, although the exhaust system is on the correct side for a 6 1/2. The shortest wheelbase was 11 feet although it could have been cut and shut. Since the detail is so poor it is difficult to be precise, but it isn't a four cylinder car, nor is it a Derby or an 8 litre, for sure. It may also be a Lagonda.
