If I remember correctly, this has the 2012-2013 front. I'll leave it to those with more knowledge to ID though: |

It probably is a recent model provided for product placement. |

Isn't this the heavier version based on the vent at the bonnet? I also think the badge at the bonnet could indicates Allison automatic transmission or Duramax diesel -- Last edit: 2013-07-16 04:07:33 |

rjluna's likely correct. But wouldn't the wheels have to be HD too? |

Neptune should know. |

Yes, it’s a 2012-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab LTZ Some trivia: capable of towing 13,000 lbs (5,896 kg or 6.5 tons) of braked trailer according to GM’s current testing standards. GM is supposed to adopt the SAE J2807 towing vehicle evaluation and certification in 2014 or 2015. GM already posted some of their tow ratings under J2807, but pulled them when Ford announced it would not use J2807 until 2015. Sometimes Ford and GM are too silly for their own good. |

rjluna is correct about the bonnet badge. Half of that badge says Allison, the other half says Duramax. |
