'90 to '93. '94 had slightly different exterior. Red car on left is a '80s Subaru GL. -- Last edit: 2007-10-16 06:54:00 |

No, 1993 and 1994 were separate from 1990-92 models. |

I never said this was a 1993 UCF10 II model. It's a 1990-1992 UCF10 model. |

Just to provide further confirmation, here are some more details that support this car being a 1990-1992 UCF10/11 LS 400: In the film, the driver of the vehicle is seen reaching over for a phone. Both the steering wheel airbag cover design and passenger side glove box placement indicate that it is not a 1993 model. For comparison, this is how the steering wheel airbag and glove box appear on a 1993-1994 model [Note the difference in design and placement]: Also, as shown in the photos posted by police car fan, the grille, side molding, and rocker panels are of the 1990-1992 design. Note that the 1990-1992 LS 400 has more vertical lines on the grille than a 1993-1994 model. Lexus decided to do this in order to emphasize the horizontal lines of the grille on later model years. Also, the side moldings on 1990-1992 models have rubber strips on the bottom, which are not present on 1993-1994 models, and the rocker panels are black/grey on 1990-1992 models instead of color-matched to the body. |
