I guess Saviem - probably the same, as: |

Worth to say, that they were made also in Italy under the brand Alfa Romeo. There were two series A (flat bed truck/chassis cab) and F (fourgon). But it seems fourgon was available only in the F20 form, which was a clone of the Saviem SB-2. This what we have here, looks like Saviem SG-2 and also doesn't have the typic for the Alfa indicators. So most possibly it indeed is a French version. The grille is removed, it is 1968+ or 1977+ version. |

Average. Good we have this new pic, it shows the door badge, which was introduced together with the 1977/78 facelift. This way it can be also a 1980+ Renault SG-2 (seems when it became Renault, this door badge was more often used, but not 100% sure how it really was), but without the grillle they are indistinguishable. -- Last edit: 2013-06-21 21:59:12 |

Ah, so there is the grille, but atypically painted. Unfortunately with the grille, but without the badges they can be indistinguishable as well, as it was generally the same for the 1978-80 Saviem and the 1980+ RVI/Renault. -- Last edit: 2013-11-26 01:24:07 |
