The Model T has an interesting setup for the pedals with brake most to the right, reverse in the middle and clutch to the left but what's the two small footswitches next to the them? |

The left side pedal is not the clutch, it is the low gear pedal - it has to be depressed to hold the car in low gear. Once it is released the car shifts into high gear. A google image search of 'Model T pedals' shows that the others seen on this car are after market accessories - maybe an exhaust cutout or maybe a floor accelerator - the standard accelerator is a handle on the column. |
