The strange and mysterious world of chopped Metros. Rapport did a handful, but had a fixed second window - a bit like a baby landaulette. Crayford also did a handful of (possibly only 2) "Metropolitans" with a similar second window (although not clear if fixed or removable, but probably fixed). And we've got this Dutch enigma. Unconfirmed info, but LAMM may have developed the later Rover 100 Cabrio prototype for Rover as unveiled at 92 Berlin show (but then went bust, so when it emerged as a production model in 94 it was Rover-built). So did LAMM chop any earlier Metros for practice?? |
