apart from the T55 with the skirt thing under the front plate, if you look carefully you will see that all the other tanks in this pic are British Chieftain Tanks mocked up to look Russian!!!! |

yep..they definately are Cheiftains under that fake blow off armour!...i still cant figure why the "star" T55 used in the chase has a non original curtain thing below the front of the hull..its not an original feature, my only guess is that in some scenes the T55 may be a fullsize mock up on car running gear...with the curtain to hide the car wheels on the prop, and the curtain fitted to the real T55 for continuity purposes..as i know the Russians didnt like a real tank being run on the road in some scenes. -- Last edit: 2008-11-27 01:19:16 |
