437 BXA, a 1962 Mk.III owned by IMCDb member 't2steve'. Also appeared in Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and Carry on Matron. |

hi kudos, i haven't been in here for a while. just need to correct your last comment. 437 was a mkII, single skin. Mk I's still had LD front but the rounded fiberglass saloon body (prototype's LLA xxx) MkIII which i also owned 472EXH was a double skin. There were a couple of other suble differences and it's not easy to tell mkII's and III's apart as updates would have been done to the older one's to keep up with road safety and awareness for othere road users, like the signage above the windscreens or the introduction of the icecream horns on the roof. |
