Ce n'est pas une Ford : Les jantes en bois sont antérieur à 1930, et la production de la "T" s'est terminée en 1927. La calandre me fait plutôt penser à une Buick de 1926. |

Great movie and seen it many times but have to say I have never noticed the Hudson, will definetely be looking out for it next time. |

This is definately NOT a 1930 Hudson. First of all, the bumpber is totally wrong. Secondly, the vent doors in the bonnet are too long and too narrow, and thirdly there is no spare tire on the passenger fender and headlight buckets are not large enough to be "Hudson" which are all "Key" factors in spotting a Hudson "At a Glance". So, I too do not know what it is for sure, But I do know its not a 1930 Hudson. My guess is maybe a Marmon or an Oakland, But thats just a wild guess. |

Looks like a '30 Hudson to me - http://www.hudson-cars.com/1930-hudson-1.html body, bonnet, wheels all look the same. Bumpers and headlights are easy to change, bodywork harder to disguise. I thnk pilou is correct - 1930 Hudson. |

Hahahahahaha...You Guys are Funny ! Its NOT a Hudson. Bonnet vents are too narrow and too tall... Grill has more of a Packard shape, but I dont think its Packard either. I dont care whats on "The-List" or even what Number it is on the list. I can Guarantee you its Not a HUDSON ! Thats Like saying it is a 32 Chevy Confederate 5 window ! Hahahahahahahaha... Interesting. So many distinctive features, I'm surprised no one can ID this car. --Few cars had that side louver pattern (one I can think of is the 1929 Oakland but the grill doesn't match that at all). --There is a vertically curved headlamp tie bar, similar to a '32 Chevy's. --Grille shell is distinctive in the Buick or Packard mode. --Ten spoke wood wheels. Unless this car has been modified, there should be enough here for a period expert to make an identification. |

BTW, More interesting info ... I have done extensive research on the 1930 Hudson as I personally own 3 1930 Hudsons 1 of which is in the 1996 film, Last Man Standing starring Bruce Willis. This paticular car shown here has a 4 or 6 cylinder motor as the bonnet is way to short to house the Straight 8 that Hudson produced in 1930. the cowl lights are mounted way too low and, Hudson ALWAYS put their spare tire on the passenger side of the car. Also Hudson NEVER built a 5 window coupe until 1932. The car pictured here has the wrap-over soft top and in 1930 the Hudson soft top was \"Centered\" and did not wrap all the way over to the rain gutter.
