The car in the foreground looks like one used by a musical troop which visited Mayberry on a couple of occasions. It was referred to as "the Bus". The Mayberry car I'm thinking of was, a Cadillac. It had fold down steps on the C post. Steps much like seen on school busses in the 70's. Steps used to reach the windows for cleaning on the busses, but on the Mayberry Band's Cadillac, it was used to strap luggage to the top of the car.
