Austin 1100. IIRC was this the most common version, resp.naming, sold in Germany. |

Ingo, what does resp mean? I noticed this word in other comments. German word? |
|

no, also used in English: http://www.dict.cc/?s=resp |

68+ 1100 Mk2 (not 1300 as Mk.II script below badge). Could be Austin or Morris, but I think flat chrome strip above number plate is not Austin shape which was flat triangle. |

The German Wiki-page http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_1100 says nothing about the naming for Germany. I'm really unsure, if both names were used here, or just Austin ![]() |

OK - switching to Austin. Looks as if both Austin and Morris had same shape moulding after all - http://www.simoncars.co.uk/ado16/slides/Morris%201100%20MkII%20rear.jpg - but this one is strange. Slight chance I suppose of an Authi version - where I don't know this sort of detail - but an unlikely situation. |

Very unlikely, as these Spanish versions never appeared in Germany - this car above has a West German plate. Btw: were ANY Authi-made cars sold outside Spain? -- Last edit: 2013-03-17 21:07:34 |

I agree unlikely, but thought it worth mentioning. There was one Authi ADO16 which was exported - their unique 998cc Mk3 Austin Deluxe which went to at least Greece and Denmark - Link to "www.aronline.co.uk" . |
