@andrepa Great detailed pic of a Ford GPW. The FORD script was only the first 17,000 or so jeeps. By April 1942 the FORD was removed from the rear panel but the "F" remained on most every other part. The Ford GPW had a different front crossmember on the frame, an inverted "C" channel. This one in main pic has the curved tube of the Willys design. |
