The first one on the site it seems. Is it really 2011? Not 2013? (or else we should have seen it more often in movies/series)
And we only have one sedan: /vehicle_525736-Ford-Police-Interceptor-2013.html

I also thought 2013, maybe the 2011 was just a Concept

I think the actual production models start with the 2013 model year. According to Ford's website, they started producing them in February 2012.

We'll probably see more of them, especially since NYC, Chicago and California are buying them to replace the Crown Vics:

The 2011-2012 models were prototypes based on everything I've seen. The earlier prototypes even had a different steel wheel design so this is definitely a later model. I think we can list this as a 2013 model. I wonder how the show got their hands on one of these. In real life, the Chicago Police Department has started using both the Ford Police Interceptor and the Police Interceptor Utility.

Check out Ford's website. Real law enforcement agencies submit pictures of their Interceptors. Spokane County, Wash has a pretty shade of green Utility.

The Interceptor Sedan and Utility are nice, and I hope they serve law enforcement well, but they are akin to grandchildren (Sedan and Utility) taking over grandfather’s (Crown Victoria) business. The company is not going to be run quite the same.

There is also the matter that the "grandchildren" are going to have tough competition from GM and Chrysler.

I think that Ford for a long time realized perfectly well that they could never hold onto the monopoly that they had on the police car market from 1997-2011, especially during the pre-Dodge Charger days. Competition was bound to come back at some point just as it had existed before 1990. The Ford PI's area already snatching up some major departments, including the California Highway Patrol and the Chicago Police Department. Many other players such as the LAPD and the LA County Sheriff's Dept. still have to choose their next-generation patrol vehicle. Only time will truly tell how successful the Ford PIs become. I'm talking strictly about sales and contracts here, not performance.

Maybe a kind of "product placement": the main character is a cop and in that scene they give lots of compliments about the car :D

Looks like I am a little late to the party, but this is NOT a Ford Police Interceptor Utility, it is a 2013 Ford Explorer Sport, dressed up to be a Police Interceptor Utility (PIU)
This vehicle has amber front turn signals, which are only available on all Explorer models, and the PIU with the detective special Street Appearance Package.
This vehicle has fog lights, which are not available on any version of the PIU, only on Explorer trims XLT and above
This vehicle has body coloured (or black) mirror caps with integrated turn signals, which again, are not available on any version of the PIU, not even the Street Appearance Package, and is only available on the Explorer Limited trim (or black on the Sport trim) (The Base and XLT have integrated turn signals, but with matte black plastic mirror caps, the PIU does not have integrated turn signals)
This vehicle has a black grille, which is only available on the PIU, Explorer Base, and Sport trim levels (The Limited and XLT have either a body coloured grille with two chrome stripes, or a brushed aluminum grille with two chrome stripes)
The specific combination of options this vehicle has leaves me with only the Explorer Sport, with PIU wheels and police upfitting.
