Is there any hint, how to identify a Polish made T4? Or only by the VIN-number?

AFAIK the facelifted flatbed version was made only in Poland. Similar was with the T5 (but then also Hannover started its production or sometihng like that). Generally I think that VW for sure avoid of any notable differneces between the German and Polish made T4s and T5s. After all they mix them and sold in the whole Europe, so it would be unwelcome.

Maybe some components can have "made in Poland" tag. I remember in the 1990s, in cars assembled in the same factory in Poznań (nearly all VAG brands back then) from more notable external things "made in Poland" was for example at the warning triangle. There were also clearly different/Polish tires and battery and for sure many more things.

A propos warning triangle: my brother-in-law told me, that it's not mandatory in Poland. There wasn't one in his brand new Dacia Duster, he'd bought in Slubice in 2012, a first-aid-box neither. But a fire extinguisher, because this is the law in Poland.

The triangle is a must, even if it is not included in the price of the car.
