 Indeed, some headlights assembly do interchange from one to another. I have seen such motorhome conversion 'borrow' manufacture's headlights :)

same with MB L 408 and Maserati QP I while rear lights of Borgward Hansa 1500 Rennsport Coupé are of Porsche 356.

Found at Christmas in the http://www.remise.de/Classic-Remise-Berlin.php (among a plenty of unrestrained overprices classic car offers) [:kiki]

Btw.: the Mercedes L408-headlights were also used for the Glas V8. An the tram in Dortmund. The reflectors are the same as for the NSU 1200 (the car, whose taillights were taken for Setra-buses)
