1970-1980 GAZ Volga M 24,if had seen better have a Polish plate and was taxi-liveried(the photo was too fuzzy under rain,so wasn't identificable quickly if was that with 1st version of grille--metallic and with convex slots-- or the 2nd version--matt black in plastic, with horizontal lines);the former model was also sold in Italy,1973-1978 circa, only with Peugeot diesel 2.1 engine fitted(were ones made by Scaldia-Volga plant in Mortsel-Anvers,Belgium,that does also Perkins-powered Moskvitches 412),meanwhile of original 2.5 lt.OHV gasoline unit(fitted also on GAZ 69M/AM
and UAZ 469-B off-roads);in Italy, the same Volga Importer would import also Moskvitch and ZAZes.
From what I see, it is Gaz 24-10 Volga (looks the newer plastic grill and different door-handles). Regarding that "M 24" - thats news for me, maybe that was the export name, but I havent heard that before.
Edit: although the wheel hub covers seem top be from the first gen. Volga 24.
