Model origin: Italy Why someone changed it? |

We have listed all Polski Fiat as origin Poland, because they are far enough away from the original Italian version (although it's to admit, that in fact we never could find a total agreement in the always again and again upcoming discussion about the correct listing of the origin country. This goes for all kind of vehicles, not only Polski Fiats). |

It is Fiat 124 - this way, by the location, it is most probably a Pirin Fiat 124. One of the last cars of this type from 1971 m.y. Worth to say, we have Polski Fiats with Polish origin in case of the cars, which were entirely made in Poland in huge numbers (125p/126p) and also exported and improved on our own. The PF's assembled from parts imported from Italy, which were nearly identical with the Italian Fiats (127p and co.) are listed with Italian origin and "made in PL" tag - and it is IMO fair, as it is hard to compare both these things. The Pirins were also assembled from the Italian parts. -- Last edit: 2012-12-17 22:09:06 |
