Red car in the centre, No. 11.

Possibly the front of the car is on the right of this picture...

1935 Aston Martin 1.5 litre LM Team Car, one of three built for the Le Mans 24 hour race.

The three cars have British registrations CMX601, CML720 and CML722. I think I read the plate in the picture as CML720?

CML 720 usually described as Aston Martin Ulster, but Tim's other info confirmed. Chassis #LM20 and finished 3rd in 1935 race - http://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/archive/LM20.html . Recent photos - http://www.flickr.com/photos/majorclanger/3837511696/ ; http://www.astonmartins.com/prewar/ulster_1935_team.htm . Now owned by Simon Draper - the publisher of the bible on Ulsters - http://www.palawan.co.uk/Book/Ulster - but priced at levels which mean no-one will ever read it. I think I'll wait for the paperback.
