1975 or 1977 model. |

1976 was the first model year of the Seville, despite what you see on the internet. All the first cars from the begining were VIN-coded as '76's. |

'78's and '79's had a chrome Cadillac emblem on the taillamp lenses and the subject car does not feature this. Either a '76 or '77. Third thumbnail appears to show the '77 style grille/shell. Changing from '76. |

This is in fact a 1976 with the grille and turn signals from a 1977. Notice that the bumper still has the eggcrate grille pattern of the 1976 models, and there's a Cadillac script located above the driver's side headlight. For 1977 models the script would be on the header panel, which is not present on this one. I assume the car was at some stage given a facelift to appear more attractive and more Cadillac-esque for personal reasons and in order to make the car more re-sellable. |
