The Vanagon came with this grille and headlights in 1986, but this bumper style was not available until 1987. I'm not sure exactly which year it is, but it's definitely a 1987-1991 model. |

Apparently, it's the same van from the movie, The East. /vehicle_644803-Volkswagen-Vanagon-Typ-2-T3-1990.html It was made in Louisiana as well as this movie. It also has the same cheap hubcaps which were probably bought from WalMart. It's probably from a movie car rental company in Louisiana, but I want to know which specific one, because I want to see if it's on their inventory. I know it's listed here as a 1988 model, but I don't know how they can tell it's exactly a 1990 model on the other page, because I have no idea if there were any changes between 1988-91 or not. |

Well this color wasn't used in 1988 (Bordeaux Red, first seen on Carat models in 1989, whole line 1990-91) http://www.gti16v.com/vwcolors.htm#vwcolors I can't tell from one picture if it is the same van. |
