Sold in Canada, but not in the US. |

why not in the USA? |

At least partly because American buyers have traditionally been less receptive to small, economy-minded cars from luxury brands, and hatchbacks in general. |

The B-Klasse isn´t that small, here it is a Minivan, and it has a lot of space in the back. |

@S 415 GT: on the other hand German buyers (except East Germans in the early 90ies) never had been interested in small-sized Sedans. |

I am wondering, why Ford still sells the Focus sedan here. I havent seen one of these yet (exept US-spec models). |

I cannot remember any actual Focus Sedan here, too. A propos Ford Focus Sedan: of the Chinese version there is a licensed assembling in North Korea, by http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyeonghwa_Motor_Plant We've spotted a plenty of them, mainly in Pyongyang, all used as taxis. Together with the Chinese VW Jetta it suppresses the classic DPRK-taxis: Dacia 1310 TX and the legendary 1974 Volvo 144. |

I´ve been working at a Ford-dealership for over a year now and we´ve only sold 2 or 3 new Focus Sedan´s. Same with the Mondeo, only 1 or 2. |

They don't even sell Focus, Astra or Mondeo saloons here any more. |

American minivans are on a different scale. Mazda has a hard enough time selling the 5 here. |

The Mondeo sedan donsn´t look too bad, I think. But other ones like the Chevy Aveo sedan are really worse. |

The Mazda 5 is quiet good selling here, although it looks a bit strange |

Don't say that, ingo will be asking you to post a picture of yourself to prove that you don't look 'a bit strange' yourself. |
