1991-92 Turbo [964] as rear badge, but it's been force-fed steroids (arches, wheels). 93+ Turbo 3.6 had different badging with 3.6. |

www.bar.ca.gov has this to say about 4DES793: PORSC 911 CARRERA TURBO 1988 05/12/1999 07:50 a.m. P DH205581C |

I suppose it could be a huge rebuild of a 1988 [930] Turbo but if so almost all the bodywork apart from roof has been replaced. All front and rear has been done, and even the doors (angled quarterlight instead of vertical). Whatever it started as, the wide wings mean that there has been significant replacement (eg front wings do not have side indicators any more) but a total transformation from a [930] is difficult to imagine outside the realms of a total wreck (high speed roll-over?). I can't see any [930] elements, but if you trust the bar.ca data sufficiently, then go for it. |
