From opening credits and made to appear as if RHD (but was probably LHD if you look closely) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAdYF1l4nFM . Plate was a genuine combination issued in April 70, but not now traceable. No idea how much this occurs in main footage but wiki quote - "Hadleigh .. was a knight in a shining white Aston Martin V8 (actually a Monteverdi 375L)" so 3 star estimate.

I love Monteverdi's (since my Trump cards in the early 70's)
Many years ago, I was lookng for any monteverdi books (Very rare) but I managed to get hold of an Original swiss language, limited edition hardback for £35 (almost a weeks wages for me then!) This is now one of my treasured possessions (and i've never seen another of these books since then)

@stronghold - do you have the Autocar road test of a Swiss-registered 375L (25 Sept 1969)? The issue had a lovely cover photo, but my copy disappeared a long time ago. Dinky did a very good model in 1970s http://www.theoldtoyguide.com/diecast/dinky/dinky-monteverdi-375l-190.html , and there is a nice but expensive NEO resin model in various colours Link to "www.neoscalemodels.com" , including a delicious yellow in a now sold-out exclusive edition for ModelCarWorld http://www.miniwerks.com/forum/pop_printer_friendly.asp?TOPIC_ID=941 .

I have a pretty good condition un-boxed Dinky car.
I don't believe I have the actual issue of the Autocar test? What I do have is some of the test figures ;)

I had the NOREV at 1/43th scale when it was launched. It was a very good accurate scale model , and I always thought it was better than the Dinky-Toys at the time. Unfortunately, I haven't any picture of my own piece (sold very very long time ago), which was in a splendid dark blue.
Here a picture of one of them found by googlizing...

Another shot (taken from a poor quality youtube clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgX4S9Znbr4 at 2:50 of 3:05). No ep/series info given, but may be some way through the 4 broadcast series.

Grey on left looks like late AH 3000. Can't find any other clips from the series online for the Monteverdi (or any other car for that matter).

The 375L was officially available in the UK and there was a RHD version. Although there are no production figures, it is believed only six were sold in the UK in RHD form. The original price was £9250, which would be around £150K today. I saw one bronze 375L for sale at a London classic car dealership and that car had been owned by John Entwistle, of The Who. I wonder what happened to the Hadleigh car?

For reference, the 375L was styled by Fissore and was a longer wheelbase version of the 375S, with 2+2 seating. It debuted at Geneva in 1969 with a Chrysler 7.2 litre V8 engine and 340bhp, although, from 1971, there was also a HEMI derivative available, with 390bhp. Depending on the source, the 375L was available from 1969 to 1975 or 1977.

I have created a new listing for this car, and the episode it's in, and it is a RHD model, I have several pictures of it captured.

Ok, but let's keep this listing.

In that case perhaps we should update the main picture to a better one?

And another, I'd imagine the one from Hadleigh didn't stay white as it's not a nice colour for it.

#5 if the picture quality were a little better, but the number plate is hardly readable anymore.

Does it need to be on the main picture?

@Danzie - can you match my opening-credits main from your copy?? Mine was only a rough online snatch so yours would almost certainly give better quality. There also seems to be a sharp still in end credits which might give good results??

I could, but I prefer pictures that show a better angle of cars.
