The lights behind the grille were built until spring 1950, followed by the lights through the grille from May 1950 (from serial number 0611-1547), followed by a third type of grille, the inverted T (here 88" version), fitted to 1952 and 53 models (2610-0001 on). The 'inverted T' was kept until the lights move out into the wings in 1968.
