Later MGA for grille and minor lights. LHD in Japan was considered exotic/prestige in Japan during 1950s/early 60s - the appeal was that domestic production was mostly economy porridge cars, and in the first few years after WW2 the main alternative was US imports of big flashy things which came with LHD. So LHD became something symbolic to impress the neighbours. I think we've had previous discussions about this, but can't find the reference. |
