Thanks guys! My previous question is due to the fact that...I can't tell the difference between this generation of CV! I know the 1998's had chrome grilles. 1999 and up, I can't even begin to ID them. Little help anybody? |

Oh, and as for the car in the picture it is a 1998 model with a replacement grille from a 2001+ |

Indeed it is a 1998 model with a newer grille as taxiguy said. The giveaway is the chrome trim on the bumper, around the door handle, and the side door moulding. You can also tell it's an old police car because of the spotlight hole on the driver's side door. One day I will make a guide to Crown Victorias, but I'm holding off for now since I'm still learning about smaller details with each year. And for revealing this top-secret information, taxiguy will be taking a one-week "vacation" from the site |
