Digging into the 02-06 Escalades now. Seems there were very little changes - so far the only one I found was that 2002 had a different steering wheel than 2003-06. -- Last edit: 2019-07-21 19:57:39 |

They were another thing that had moving antennas, but when I looked it before it seemed confusing by the end. |

I don't know if the Escalades had those tweeters on the a-pillars for 2002 or not. The Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban didn't get them until 2003, but the Escalade did offer the Bose sound system for 2002, so it might have gotten them earlier. The steering wheel is the easiest to spot, but there were many interior changes for 2003, as there were with all GM large SUVs and pickups. The dash is slightly different, the radio and air conditioning controls were new. The door panels and seats were also redesigned for 2003. For 2004, the Escalade ESV got a new Platinum trim, which added 20-inch wheels and Platinum badging to the exterior and a host of interior upgrades, including, heated and cooled cup holders. Early 2002 models (2001 production) had the Onstar antenna on the rear glass like the 2000-2001 Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban, 2002 produced models had the Onstar antenna on the roof. Other than that the Onstar/XM antennas are the same as all the other large GMs. There were also a few exterior color changes along the way. |
