79' Chevrolet/GMC had round headlights in square buckets.

This is indeed a 1980 model due to the headlights. However, K-30 was a Chevrolet model name. This would be a K-35 (based on earlier comments that it's a K-Series to begin with). With this thumbnail the "35" is visible, as well as Sierra Grande (this being the trim):
