I'd have to say Pontiac 6000. The cavalier had 2 sealed beam headlights on each side where as the 6000 had 1 composite The headlights on this car look to large to be 1 sealed beam.

The rear pillar looks too sloped to be an A-body. Plus it's in motion so the lights are a bit streaked. I think it's a J-body coupe.

Streaked is one thing but headlights double the size they should be is something different

and if you look inside of each headlight you can make out the reflection of the fog lights (which are off) That are available on the 1990 Pontiac 6000 coupe

If it had low beams on, it should have a dimmer section next to it where the light spills over. If it has highbeams on, then there should be a bright spot next to the lights. The whole composite headlight wouldn't be uniformily lit up like that on the 6000.

actually according to my books 1986-1989 Pontiac 6000's use a 9004 headlamp. which means that the high and low beam are both in the same lamp therfore illuminationg the entire fixture regardless of which filiment (high/low) is lit up.

Ok, but I still don't think it's a 6000 based on the C-pillar. Plus the nose doesn't look long enough.

What is it then? Cavalier?

I would say it's a Cavalier. There's no body colored section in the middle of the grille to indicate that it is a Pontiac or Oldsmobile.

most pontiac 6000's didnt have a body colored section in the middle of the grille

after lightining this pic up on my computer it does appear that this looks like a j-body but i still dont think the headlights look right

I know the 6000 didn't have a body colored section, but the Sunbird/J2000 did and that's what I was referring too.
