I think the Corolla is more boring.This car was aimed at a budget-priced market and was likely of higher quality than some of the American cars, like the Neon.It was durable enough for taxicab use. Basically its just a tool for transportation, not intended for enthusiasts.I'd rather have one of these than a Taurus,Stratus or Saturn.

A car for the bad weather (salt and ice on slippery winter-streets for example). For protecting your "real" car. Also for transporting heavy, dirty, sharp-edged or stinking stuff. And when you cannot see it any more or the repairs become too expensive, you can throw it into the crusher without a heavy heart. Yes, such cars have a right and a need to exist.
