2009-2012 Ford F-150 SuperCrew XLT (P415) Has conventional all-wheel drive featuring a two-speed dual range BorgWarner 4419 transfer gearbox. AdvanceTrac electronic stability control (ESC) with roll stability control (RSC) is fitted as standard and also includes four-wheel electronic traction control (engine and ABS brake locking). F-150 no longer requires the use of the outdated rear Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, but it is still offered as a option for those who want it. A new, clever, electronic locking differential (ELD) which works with the four-wheel electronic traction control system is offered as an option for the rear differential, and is standard on some versions of F-150. The ELD is supplied by the British company GKN Driveline. |
