This is Tarbet on Loch Lomond, and they're catching the bus to Tarbert in Argyll. There's also another shot about halfway through the film of another bus with Tarbert destination (no page made) in a brief sequence for the Tarbert on Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Scotland has a few Tarbe(r)ts to choose from - it's an old Viking name for a place where boats could be drawn up and across a narrow strip of land between sea and loch or 2 lochs. |
