Not a Vauxhall for me. Most similar would be Wyvern / Velox / Cresta [E] but grill is wrong.... and there are no "Vauxhall chrome flutes" on the bonnet.

US car from the 1950s I am almost sure.

Looks like a 51-53 Dodge - one of the higher models judging by the trim. Obviously the car to the left is an Armstrong Siddley and the one on his right is a 50's Beetle

The Armstrong Siddeley's a Humber Super Snipe or possibly Pullman. Or - sorry, royalimperial - Imperial.

Agreed. Though others are listed as 1954. I don't know when in 1953 these were introduced (still model year 1953 or already 1954)...
